Ah… Sage Bravo does it again. This time it’s over the first single from Blueprint 3… Run This Town. You know why I like Sagie? Cuz he’s real. He lets all his emotion out on this track and I dig it. I’ve been listening to it on repeat for over an hour and I connect with it. That’s what we need now. Music we can connect to. Sage Bravo does it. He’s a problem.
Here’s a good artist for you to check out. Conscious hits up Mizfitz Soundz on the production tip to what becomes a dope track. I feel this record, for real. Conscious has a damn good sound to him.
New summer music for everyone. The incredible duo of Starrz and Sage Bravo go IN over a Starrz produced track. I’m telling you this once and only once… if you do not download and listen to this track you are missing out. This is the track you throw on when you get your cups filled and drink another drink. This is the track that you will be bumping in your car and people will be jealous because you don’t have this track. Trust on that.
More Sage Bravo. I swear this dude lives in the studio. This time he hits the track with Savage Da Beast to record a banger. They both go in so make sure you don’t miss it. Sage Bravo’s Beat Abuse is coming soon. I thought The Verdict was next but it’s not. Playas fuck up! */Next Friday*
A new artist for you good people. Kevin Abstract is very good at what he does. He has a very fresh sound to him that I can roll with. I’ve listened to this mixtape a few times over and I have to say it will continue to get heavy rotation from me. You can peep Abstract on Twitter or hit up his Myspace. Here’s another rapper I’m telling you not to sleep on. Maybe I wouldn’t call him a rapper. He’s more like a storyteller. I like that.
Abyss Da Dark performs his track “Bang Out” Live at the Hip Hop Savior Showcase and gives Danitha a really good interview. If you’re still sleeping on Abyss Da Dark, you need to pick up his project with Panama Red Forever And A Day. No lies, as I write this I listen to the track Lights. So cop that, watch the interview, and sign up at Unsigned Debut.
It’s about time that L’Daialogue has his own Collections post. Anyways, the homie came through with three different tracks this morning. A Letter to the Justus League, TwentyNine, and Da’ Shape Of Ya. But he can explain them better than I can:
The first, MiZUnderstatistic produced “A Letter To The Justus League” is an ode to the North Carolina hip-hop collective Justus League. His unofficial commentary outlines the legacy and the collective’s ultmate potiential. This song is moreso a wish to hear a collective album from a crew that boasts sales over 200,000 as a collective.
The second song is from an up-and-coming North Carolina native J-Snizzy produced “TwentyNine” which is featured on L’Daialogue’s DJ Kenny Kaign’s recent mixtape: Bluff City Daialogue 2. This soulful SWV sample along with L’Daialogue fierce lyrical flow is a perfect complement to J-Snizzy’s smooth production.
The final track entitled “Da’ Shape Of Ya’” is produced by South Carolina native MIDIMarc and is the first single from L’Daialogue’s upcoming EP, InDAIpendent. MIDIMarc handles all of the production on this upcoming project as this song itself breaks down the demeanor of people into form of shapes with the same sharp lyrical lines that surrounds each of these songs.
You can get all three of these tracks after the jump.
My dude LV chats it up with Danitha Jones from Unsigned Debut. Make sure you check out my spotlight on LV if you haven’t already. The dude is makin’ moves to make things better. I can appreciate that.
Gotta support my Ohio fam. Cleveland what’s good?! The dude J-Curse is dropping his mixtape Weight/Wait Of My City August 4th and you all need to cop it. The album art is DOPE looking. I love when mixtapes have good album art. Makes me want to pick it up even more. But I like visuals. Sue me.
My BMore fam keep dropping tracks. This one is from Sage Bravo and Rickie Jacobs. This song is FIRE so don’t sleep on them. Hell, don’t sleep on Team Take Ova either. Like the little logo I came up with? I think it’s dope. Sagie, Rickie, Valentine, DK, Q Golden SALUTE!
